I was intrigued by the concept: a man who can't die. What's more, the idea that there are others makes the mystery all the more compelling. However, after reading the First Impression, I found that the writing style was not to my taste. There are a lot of incomplete sentences that seemed to be used to increase tension but for me just read as choppy and distracting. This may not be a problem for others, and for them, the mystery of David's life is is well-presented. I also like the cover art, as I think it fits well with what we've seen from the story so far.
