This book shows great promise. The plot seems very interesting and I'm excited to see where the rest of the story leads. Only two characters were introduced in the book preview: the story's protagonist and a woman named Tiana who works for David at his bookstore. Of the two, I felt more drawn to Tiana because of her personality. She was a very vibrant character that immediately drew me in and made me love her. David was interesting as well, but his past and personality seemed more shrouded in a history left to be discovered than immediately known. However, I can say that his personality makes it very evident that he is a character who hasn't aged in over a century. I'm interested in seeing such characterization develop after he meets Zachary Wilson.
