No Less Days draws you in quickly. A fire in an used bookstore. The panic that the owner, David Galloway, feels was palpable to me. Being a haunter of the local used bookstore I could relate to his reactions. His love of books comes through very clearly. But something is off with David. He seems to have lived for over a century and dies every October. What drew me to his character is a melancholy about him that makes you want to immediately like him. His relationship with his only employee, Tiana, is a comfortable one. One of easy patter.
