But this one is lacking the sex and intrigue and heroism of others. The blurb makes me want something that sets this apart from the other stories of a character who can't die. Alas, it's David who seems like he wants to die, and he has made a friend. They are about to "rescue" a friend who's being abused by her spouse. I can predict where it's going from here.
