I love the magic element. I love the first look at the nightbirds and what they can do. I’m intrigued to learn more about their abilities.
I also love that we are getting perspectives from 3 nightbirds. I especially liked that the POV changed within the chapter. I hope this element will help dive deeper into the magic, history, families, and all things nightbirds.
I’m curious what adventures the girls will get into. They can help many, but also scare people with their abilities. It will be interesting to see how each nightbird handles certain situations that they will find themselves in.
Another thing I really liked was the map and the pictures of the cards. It really helps me envision parts in a story.
The first two chapters were definitely attention grabbing and made me even more excited for this books release!
