I thought this was a lovely read!
First of all, the cover for this book is absolutely stunning! So that immediately caught my eye. Then when I read the description of what the book was about, I was hopeful that this book would be an enjoyable read for me. Fortunately, it was!
One of my favorite things about this book is the world building. The writing in this book was so lovely, pulling me in from the very first chapter (though there is admittedly a lot of information to work through in the opening--but once I got through that, the pace was fine). It was very description, but without the story getting bogged down with too many details. Overall, it was quick-moving story, which I appreciated as it kept me turning the page to find out what happens next. I also liked that the unique magic system in this world (kissing magic!).
I enjoyed followed all three of our POV character's stories--they all brought something different.
