This is high on my tbr list. I love the idea of something magical that had Gatsby vibes. The writing is well polished and I was interested from the start. I love a book with girl friendships at the center. It is such a joy to hand something with friendship at the center to a teen instead of a romance. I say this as a teen librarian. I always feel a little unsure when handing a teen a romance because I never know how they or their parents are going to react and these days most teen romances get spicy. So having something with fantasy and adventure that focuses on friendship is a real positive for me. I absolutely love the cover. It is a beautiful piece of artwork and it has such an elegant look to it. I would buy this book based solely on that cover but it is a nice addition to have a good book in between the beautiful cover and back of the book. I look forward to sharing this book.
