The Nightbirds was a great book. It follows three nightbirds, girls that have been born with powers that they themselves cannot use, but they can gift to others with a kiss. When a religious group sets out to destroy the Nightbirds, they discover things about themselves that they were not ready for. These girls with very different lives and backgrounds become sisters in a truly unique way.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Being able to read through different character point of views really helped me feel a connection to all of the characters and understand each of their personal struggles and experiences. I really enjoyed watching the character growth of all of the girls throughout the book. None of the characters seemed stagnant at all. I also really enjoyed the world building and learning about the different regions. I can’t wait for book two!
