Loving the rich imagery and prohibition-era atmosphere

Prohibition era vibes, complete with glamor, secrecy, and danger. But in this version, it’s magic not alcohol that’s prohibited, but traded in secret still. Lots of imagery (often bird-themed) that gives this a distinctive style. Compelling characters so far. I can’t wait to see these magical girls break out of the system they’re trapped in where they sell their magic to men, but never use it for themselves. With growing threats from those seeking to wipe out witches, they’ll have to do so just to survive.
