Forbidden Magic, Political Intrigue and Strong Female Leads

The beautiful cover grabbed my attention and the premise intrigued me. I love the world-building that the author has managed to achieve in such a brief preview. The magic system that she introduces is intriguing and I am looking forward to diving deeper into this world and see how things pan out for Matilde, AEsa and Sayer.
