Never vacation with your ex is a good YA for a nice summer read. The characters bring you back to your younger days (or at least when I was younger) and gives the perspective from the characters point of view, not third person. This makes it more relatable because you feel as if you are the character yourself. It started off good and I like how the chapters are short. For me, shorter chapters keep my interest longer. I read the sample if the book within 15 minutes, I was hooked from reading it. It has similar story lines to other YA, but I'm interested to see where the book continues to go. It is very easy to follow along to and the storyline is not confusing as other YA romance books can be. Overall I enjoyed the sample if the book and think that it is a great read for anyone who wants something that is easy to read and a good storyline of love, friendship and life.
