Kaylee and Dean have known each other their whole lives. Their moms were star volleyball players in highschool and Kaylee’s mom was an Olympian and professional player while Dean’s mom played in college and stopped. Kaylee is also a star volleyball player headed toward the Olympics and Dean is a shy photographer. Since they’ve grown up together, naturally they’d develop feeling for each other and try dating. That is until one of them breaks it off.
I recently read a book very similar to this one within the last week. I’m actually confusing the two in my head! So, I might not give this book a fair shake.
It was fun and good for a young adult romance. The cover is super cute and I’m a sucker for a cartoon cover. There are some sexy parts but nothing over the top.
I liked Dean’s character, but I didn’t really connect with Kaylee. She felt a little flat for me.
