To start the concept of the book sounded great and the cover really drew me in because of the colors the authors used. The main character was not the most likeable character I have read before. The story is a coming of age finding yourself story. I didn’t like how it was so focused on the main character being an influencer because it just seems unrealistic and we are surrounded by that everyday I don’t feel the need to have to read about it as well.
The beachy vibes in this book was great for summer and I always enjoy a book set by the beach. Gives off the perfect laid back relaxed atmosphere. I however did not see the chemistry that these two had or were supposed to have. I thought the authors could have done a better job at developing their relationship a bit more throughout the story. Dean seemed her deserved better than someone who was self centered and only seemed to care about themselves.
