First of all, I didn't receive this book until over a week after publication. I also feel like maybe I've aged out of the young adult romance genre. I really enjoyed this author duo's contemporary romance, The Roughest Draft, so I think I'll stick with their adult books in the future.
Kaylee Jordan, lives in the shadow of her mother's Olympic medals for volleyball. Kaylee's family vacations in Malibu every year with best friends, the Freeman-Yus and their son, Dean. The only problem this year is Kaylee and Dean dated for two months and then Kaylee broke up with him for no apparent reason. Awkward, right?? Kaylee is determined for Dean to get over her while Dean is determined to get Kaylee back. How will this affect the overall dynamic of the family vacation? Is there a happy ever after for Kaylee and Dean? If you find you care enough to find out, good for you! By the end, I was just glad the book was over.
