Disclaimer: I had to power this ARC from a dear friend as my copy did not come in time for publication day! Alas, all is well that ends well, and I was able to get to know a new set of characters. Both Wibberley and Siegemund-Broka gave us a fun in the sun read that reminds us all about the importance of second chances - in love, of course, but also in the realm of friendships and family, too. This one is an easy, quick read that is a must-read for summer beach days. It's the perfect "grab your towel and a cold drink, sit back and relax" read. Between Kaylee and Dean there is something about their characters that is relatable - and it is all given to us by the perfect combination of rom com, young adult, summer beach read. With all that said, I still could not give this one top marks as I had a feeling that I had read a very similar beach read before. But don't let that hold you back.
