I don't usually give books low ratings, but this one just fell flat for me. I found the characters annoying, which made it hard to get through the book. Normally, I can forgive some naivete in young adult novels because the characters are supposed to be young, but this was to an extent that was unbearable for me. I really did not even want them to end up together, as they did not feel like they had romantic tension at all. It just seemed like they could not move on from their past relationship. It had some redeeming qualities, like a cute setting and some very funny side characters (who I wish got more page time), but considering the focal point of the whole novel was the romance, and the romance was nothing to write home about, it only gets a meager two stars from me. If you like cliches, this book is for you, but it is definitely not for me. I liked that the cover was pink though!
