This book was a very sweet and wholesome coming of age book. I think it created characters that are relatable and easy to root for. I love a good summer romance and adding in the second chance trope really kept me engage all the way until the end.
The story is very fast paced, so it doesn’t lag on like maybe some other books. This book deals with some good issue that teens today struggle with like, nobody is perfect, and everyone can make mistakes.
The cover of this book is really well done. The color scheme is very fitting for the summer a summer romance vibe and the cartoon-ish characters are really in right now with book covers. I think it will pop great on the shelves with the rest of the summer reads.
