I was interested until I started reading... there is something unlikeable about the main character and I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's not a perspective I want to read a whole novel from. Maybe it's the writing, more than the character behind the writing. I really can't put my finger on it, other than it was a little off-putting and I'm not interested in reading.
