From the title alone, I never would have guessed this was a YA book. So I was a bit thrown when I saw the heroine was (almost) 17. Although I like the romance genre, I'm not a huge fan of YA romances. The synopsis did not make me want to read it because she "unceremoniously dumped him" (after a three-month "relationship"). That combined with her "carefully curated social media" makes her sound privileged, spoiled, and immature.

The excerpt did nothing to improve my opinion. A teen "romance" that lasted all of 3 months. Please spare me the teen drama. This isn't a book I'd pick up.

The cover is okay. A bit too pink for my taste, but it would be noticeable on a shelf.
