The moment I saw the cover and the title, I knew I wanted to read this. I'm a HUGE fan of second chance romance and this is not only exes (sort of) fresh off a breakup but also childhood friends to lovers to exes to lovers! Despite the First Look only being the first couple of chapters, I was immediately hooked on the dread that Kaylee was feeling over having to vacation with her ex. Especially since said ex was completely ignoring her (for what seems to be good reason). I do think it'll take a bit longer to warm up to Kaylee, only because it's clear that she's been set up as a "going to grow a lot throughout the story" character. I'm excited to see where everything goes!
