My first thought when reading through this is that I would love to be curled up in a sandy beach somewhere with this book in hand. I love that Kaylee wants to be her own person aside from everyone else. When she tells Jeremy that she isn’t in her mom’s shadows and how shadows hide you, I thought that was such a great sentiment, because up until that point in the book, I assumed that was where her high amount of stress was coming from. Something is missing to keep it from flowing as smoothly as I would like, but it still seems like a great read.
