I like the cover, that alone would have gotten me to pick the book up. Volleyball is an interesting choice as it isn't a sport typically featured in books. I like that too.
It's a light story about a girl who seems to be afraid of feelings, actually in a relationship and all the feelings that come along with that. Maybe it's too much pressure with her focus on her sport and where it will take her after highschool of maybe it's ultimately her fear of getting hurt -- I'll hurt them before they hurt me. Easy summer read.
