I'm not really into the beach read scene, so I'm a bit of an outsider in this review. But the story is quick, easy to read. Kaylee's facing typical teen problems and larger life pressures, and I was instantly on her side, especially given how not-very-supporting-parent-like her parents treated the whole issue of going on vacation with her ex. They sure coulda done better on that one, but hopefully it all turns out well for Kaylee in the end.
