Kaylee is a very compelling main character, driven mainly by her goal to be an Olympic volleyball player like her mom. She dates around, but has a lot of experience with breakups—and it seems most of her relationships follow a particular pattern (length of time pre-breakup, depth of feelings, etc.). I’m looking forward to reading more about Kaylee and how her relationship with her ex (and former best friend) Dean progresses and possibly changes over their usual 3 week vacation.
