This book has the potential to be really funny, but I can't quite handle the excessive angst. The main character has a former Olympian mom and she herself has become a social media influencer.
She talks constantly about how tough she has it and how she really needs a peaceful vacation without her ex (who she dumped because she has commitment issues) who happens to be the son of her parents best friends.
I guess it just bothers me how much she complains in the first impression. She comes off like a spoiled brat to be honest.
The cover definitely has Rom-com vibes and I was super hopeful with the title that this would be a good one.
