Once I read the synopsis and saw that it's compared to The Summer I turned Pretty and The People We Meet on Vacation, I knew I wanted to read it! I love the cute cover and it definitely tells the reader that it would be a good beach read. I really appreciate the honesty of the main character and I can't wait to see how her Malibu family vacation turns out!
