This is a book of fiction. I know that. But I love that it tackles real feelings that just aren't typically discussed. Even taboo. But very real. Yes, a girl with big boobs will go home and immediately take off her bra. They're not comfortable. They seem extravagant, but they're awful. Everyone thinks they want big boobs. But really nobody wants them that big. They're painful and not actually flattering. Don't event get my started on playing sports. And the only thing that makes it better, is restrictive, painful in a different way, and also not flattering. And it makes it harder to relate to the people around you when the complaints are different.
So to read a book that tells it like it is, is refreshing. Though I will say, I'm wondering at what point the book becomes something a little more. but I am definitely interested to see where it goes from here.
