I really enjoyed this book. The meet-cute in the first couple of chapters was standard rom-com fare but this book gave our main character one thing that I have never before read in a book: really, really big boobs. Greer’s insecurity about them and how she dealt with them while presented with the many of the gross things that girls who are just learning to be themselves face. While the majority of girls in real life don’t have Greer’s exact problem, they can relate to her story while enjoying her journey of self-acceptance.
In terms of characters, I thought Greer’s family was hilarious, her love interest was quirky and that they paired well, and Quin was so precious (her arc was a delightful addition to the book). I think the thing I enjoyed the most was the positive relationships between all of the girls in the book. Greer and her best friend have a sweet friendship that isn’t affected by Greer developing friendships with other girls. All of the popular, pretty girls were given well developed personalities and they all lifted each other up.
While I thought the ending was a bit cheesy, I think we could all use a bit of cheese and happiness in our lives. I highly recommend this book for all girls growing into themselves (I desperately wish this book had been around for me) and to anyone who just wants a sweet story.
