Not to judge but, this book just from the cover seems inspirational, uplifting, relatable for young teenage readers, and a fun highschool read. Between the description and the book cover, this book is brutally honest about high school today and what girls experience on a daily basis. the way the description was written was so relatable it hooks me in wanting to know what else the author has to say. With high school being a difficult experience to many this book seems to bring to light many struggles many girls go through. The cover of the book shows a teenage girl in a large sweatshirt with a speech bubble covering her body. This shows the lengths many teenage girls will go to attempt to hide their body from the fear of judgements and comments from their peers. Especially with sexist dress codes from many schools and unfair expectations on woman to dress a certain way it shows how early this impacts a young woman’s life. This book over all seems extremely relatable, quirky, and humorous.
