So far, the story seems like it will take Greer on a journey of growth and self-love, which I'm always okay with seeing. The writing is okay, but not fantastic. Greer sounds somewhat like a teen, but something about it is just kind of falling flat for me in that regard. It seems like it will be a cute book, but I don't think I'd read more based on the excerpt. It was okay, but nothing really stood out to me about this novel, separated it from so many others out there. I think the cover is nice, but the girl on it doesn't seem anything like how the book has described Greer so far. The sweater isn't even baggy around her.
