While this word is over-used quite a bit, this book has provided a relatable description of a teenage girl's psyche. The author used humor & sincerity to portray how the character is feeling, and it's easy to find yourself rooting for her. Seemingly every teenage girl has dealt with body image issues to some degree. Like myself, the character turns to humor to cope with her anxiety and nervousness. I found this book to be very enjoyable, and I look forward to reading the rest of it!
