There is something really great about relatable, escapist reads like YA novels. This one seems like it will be JUST that. Everyone has felt that uncomfortableness in high school and for Greer it's a body image issue. Having an exceptionally large chest in high school is a tough pill to swallow. Who wants to be around hormonal boys and insecure girls when the way your body looks isn't something you have much control over? So Greer tries to just fade into the background, which in her baggy clothes and quiet demeanor is mostly possible.

Except that her mom is the exact opposite of fade to black. Greer's mom is the town's "relocation specialist." So every time a family moves in, Greer's mom, Kathryn helps them find the best of it all. And if they've got children, Greer is dragged along to serve as a junior relocation specialist. It's awkward for everyone except Kathryn who is oblivious to it all and just wants Greer to step outside her box.

I'm excited to see where this story goes! The excerpt was a fun look into the novel and it's definitely on my TBR now.
