Now I know why I watch crime shows instead of reading them. This is just like every episode I have watched, almost. It starts off meeting the lead detective and her investigation. At no point in the book was I wondering, what happens next. There was no suspense or action. It was very blaise for me. I have never read any of her work and I don't think I will going forward. It is a straightforward crime story. If you like those types of stories, then this book is definitely for you. I didn't find myself connecting with any of the characters. Not really what sure to write here as I still have 100 characters to go. These last few lines have absolutely nothing to do with the book. I hope every one has a great Labor Day.
