After reading Lynda La Plante's "Widows," I've become a fan of hers. So when I saw this book, I knew I had to give this one a try also.

Once again we are thrown into a thick plot of mystery and intrigue. This though we are set in the seventies in England. Jane has found a murder plot which soon gets publicized and out of control. She must solve the mystery before it gets too late. The author includes the social and political turbulence in England at this time too, making it more realistic and compelling to hear Jane's story. Jane must work hard to overcome different obstacles all around her. I really liked her as a character and it was great seeing her grow throughout the story. I would definitely recommend this one!
