I recently finished binge watching The Fall on Netflix, starring Gillian Anderson..Tennyson in the Murder Mile is much like that detective character. A great investigator, who notices the minute details such as the ground was dry under the body, so she must have been killed prior to the sleet storm that started at 3 am. She remembers precisely what and where she was at 3 am, and found the report to solidify her statement. Details that are important to cateloging the events of a crime are facinating to me, as I enjoy putting the pieces together like a jigsaw puzzle. Her character would be fascinating to follow in a series. Fans of James Patterson's murder by number series or Patricia Cornwell with details of crime work would enjoy this book emensely. I give it 4 out of five stars for wanting to read the rest ! I woukd love to give my honest review!
