While this isn’t really a genre I read all that often, I did find this intriguing with the unidentified victim, and I liked that there was a bit of humorous banter between the partners at the beginning. I also like that this is set in the seventies as that era isn’t featured very often in current books and it’s certainly an interesting time to feature a female detective. As for the cover, I don’t dislike it, but it wouldn’t stand out all that much for me from any other mystery or thriller.
