I'm intrigued by the premise of the Jane Tennison series, since it follows a female detective in the 70s in London. I love reading about real and fictional female police officers, and the first few pages offer a glimpse into what Jane is dealing with in a male-dominated profession. I can't wait to see how she fares under a high-pressure serial killer investigation.
