Not interesting to me
The positives - it was interesting to read what an English lesson might be like for a non-native English student. The characters are vibrant and descriptive, I feel like I can picture each one as they are introduced in the first chapter.
The writing is casual, not too complicated or wordy, but not too basic or novice either.
Switched perspective in the second chapter and the connection is hard to figure out, although I'm sure that becomes more clear throughout the book.
On the down side, right out of the gate there was language I wasn't expecting, which is a PERSONAL preference to avoid. Sexual content in chapter two as the narrator describes one of the characters and what they were doing the previous night.
The cover art is an unusual but perfect cross between minimal and vintage in my opinion and is a really creative and fun stylistic choice.
