This book just wasn't for me, overall.

I felt as though the seventy-one-year-old main character, Mrs. Plansky, wasn't as believable of a character as I was hoping she would be. I felt as though there were inconsistencies in her character: for example, some moments we were led to believe she were incredibly smart, and other times incredibly dense. And some moments where we are led to believe she was in great physical shape, and other times she ran out of breath easily. Nobody's perfect at everything, but I just wish her character leaned more heavily one way or the other.

Another thing I didn't enjoy was the pacing of this book. It was uneven from the start. And I also didn't like the way that the ending was rushed.

Something else that bothered me was that the main character was called "Mrs. Plansky" rather than being called her given name (Loretta).

The one thing I did enjoy, however, was how it depicted the elderly often the victims of scams more and more these days.
