The story is told from the point of you of Mrs. Plansky and also the criminal that stole her money. Mrs. Plansky is a feisty elderly lady in her early 70s. She plays tennis at the club to keep in shape. Her children know that if they need anything they can go to her. Mrs. Plansky thinks about her deceased husband often. Reminding herself of what he would do in certain situations. She doesn’t let people step all over her. She decides to do a little detective work of her own, and takes finding out what happened to her stolen money to the next level.
The middle dragged on, and there were some unbelievable parts. I felt the ending happened too fast. Like the author was trying to wrap it up quickly. I love how descriptive the author is. It makes me feel like I am right there. The story was delightful and refreshing, even though the main topic was not a happy one.
