Enjoyed the premise of the book. Mrs. Plansky having a quiet , cozy life until receiving a phone call from someone stating he is her grandson ,Will. He has been arrested and needs money to get out of jail.
She gives him her bank account number and password to all of her accounts. Big mistake! The phone call turns out to be a scam from Romania.
The best part of the novel is that Mrs. Plansky never gives up. She isn’t the type of woman that will lie down and let people walk all over her. She makes a plan and follows through with it. The reader will cheer on this character for her tenacious spirit.
It is interesting that I have heard of this scenario happening to many older people in the current times, which made me root for the main character.
I hope that we can continue to hear about more of Mrs. Plansky’s adventures in the near future. I think the author of the book has a gold mine in this character!
