I was intrigued by Spencer Quinn's novel, "Mrs. Plansky's Revenge", since reading the synopsis posted by Bookishfirst. The First Look certainly did not disappoint!
The plot in chapter 1 starts off with a "student" being taught by his "professor" how to correctly speak U.S. English as a teenager/young adult. As we progress to chapter 2, we become familiar with the feisty main character, Loretta Plansky. She is not your typical seventy-one-year-old widow. She is athletic, bright and a force to be reckoned with. However, Loretta finds herself taken in by a too common con, which not only leaves her humiliated, but destitute after her life savings vanishes. What is Loretta's next move?
