The sample is well-written and the voice is dry and amusing, but I find myself not the least bit interested in the characters or plot. I have to conclude that this isn't for me, but I'm sure there will be plenty of people who like it.
I do like the cover quite a lot, with the cream background and the line drawings of characters on it. And the font is very nice.
