I really enjoyed this First Look at Mrs. Plansky's Revenge. The premise is great; so many people have been victims or potential victims of the "Grandma, I need your help" scam. The writing and characterizations remind me of Carl Hiaasen's books, with a good mix of zaniness and heart, and some revealing chapters from the villain's perspective. I do find the cover a bit "blah" for such a spirited story. I'm not sure this would be a big hit at my high school library, but it's one I would seek out and read on my own!
