I am an anxious person and this type of book makes my anxiety go into overdrive. Everything from the chapter where we meet the main character and it is clear she is aging and life isn’t as easy or fun as she wished it were. It hit a little too on the nose for me and depressed me. Reading the blurb I knew my anxiety would just get worse. I do find the cover fun and think many will connect with it as the writing was solid.
