Not for me
I thought I would enjoy this book based on the intriguing, yet minimalistic cover. I was wrong. Maybe fiction just isn't for me but the dialogue felt forced and awkward. I could tell this book was written by a man based on the weird and inappropriate interjections about sex and the descriptions of the female characters. I was confused by the first paragraph before it switched to Mrs. Plansky's POV but it was a welcome respite after reading 25 or so pages from her perspective. There were a lot of interruptions that I felt ruined the flow of the book, about her use of a phone and unwillingness to become a "fossil" and the constant mentioning of Norm in the middle of a sentence that was seemingly unrelated.
