Captivating writing Voice! - Mrs Plansky's Revenge

At first glance, I wasn't interested in this story. It's not a genre I typically pick up nor did I find the blurb overly captivating. However, I was immediately engrossed with the humorous writing style of the author and was transported into the opening scene with such ease. Re-reading the blurb after reading the first impression...I'm super intrigued! Especially with a main character in her 70s. I'm eager to read more!
