This book opens in such a heart-wrenching way (very possibly triggering for a lot of reasons). The writing style is readable and flowing. I love the two perspectives and double timeline so far. Personally, I seek out books with a touch of bilingualism in them and this one has a bit already. Definitely adding it to my TBR!
