This isn’t a book I’d normally pick up but I like the concept. The characters seem complex and it feels that it will relate to the real world. Pat needing to choose between having compassion for human beings or upholding the laws of this country as a military man feels like it will be really hard to read about. That and what the siblings are going through because that’s real life. Interesting plot!
