While the prologue of this book, the story of Galán and Gabriela intrigued me at first, the story made a huge time jump and then shifted focus to Coastguard Pat McAllister and others aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Strickland. That was where I lost interest unfortunately, and didn't really care much to read on after that.
